Eton Wick Census Project

The Eton Wick Census Project is being undertaken to understand more about the people and society of that period in its history in the decades of change before the First World War. 

1841 Transcription of the Eton Wick Census of 1841 63 households recorded and 322 people in residence.

1841 Transcription of the Dorney Census of 1841 63 households recorded and 323 people in residence.

1851 Transcription of the Eton Wick Census of 1851 72 households recorded and 333 people in residence.

1851 Transcription of the Dorney Census of 1851 66 households recorded and 355 people in residence.

1861 Transcription of the Eton Wick Census of 1861 78 households recorded and 276 people in residence.

1871 Transcription of the Dorney Census of 1871 99 households recorded and 421 people in residence. There were 2 houses and the Shepherds Hut public house with 11 residents living in the area of the parish adjacent to Eton Wick that are included.
