WW2 - Reserved Occupation Schedule 1939

The National Register recorded in September 1939 records who was resident in every house in Eton Wick. The information includes name, marital status, gender, age, date of birth, occupation and any other duties that they had volunteered for.

The Eton Wick History Group currently are using the two sets of data to understand who between the ages of 18 and 40 were in jobs that were reserved occupation and the other residence who were conscripted for military service.

Government list of Reserved Occupations has around 250 industries or professions and nearly 1500 categories of jobs across those sectors of industry.
